DPS enters into manufacturing of precision turbine blades manufacturing. The complex profile blades are manufactured on our CNC Vertical Machining Centers with complete CAD /CAM programming. These are supplied to a tire – 1 supplier of an export oriented unit. This was a strategic move by DPS to cater the services to power & aerospace sector to fight the global economic meltdown.

Today the company is engaged in manufacturing of precision components to the tire -1 suppliers of majors like VOLVO, L&T Komotsu, Wipro, TVS etc. Mostly these cases are the classic examples of forward integration. Last year the company handled the fixture and tooling design for these companies and executed these projects successfully. Based on the success of the project, the respective companies extended the relation further to handle their tool management systems because, its our passion to cut the metal profitably!

2. Distinct Productivity Solutions, add a manufacturing facility for fixtures which involves CNC Vertical Machining Center, BMV45T20, BFW make, Enhanced assembly area of 2500 sq ft. This will enable us to make the long lead items like bases and heavy parts much faster leading to shorter execution cycle. The time to the market is likely to come down considerably in the months to come. We are all set to take on bigger challenges.

1. Watch out for Hydraulic fixture Designed and Developed by Distinct Productivity Solutions on BFW machine BMV45TC20P which is on Display in forthcoming IMTEX 2007 Exhibition. This fixture is designed to demonstrate the versatility that can be attained by using CNC Rotary Table on a "Vertical Machining Center"
